A multi-award winning theatre, drama and creative learning charity.
Based in Northumberland, we co-create compelling, dynamic, socially-relevant, and high-quality theatre, film and creative projects - with children, young people, and communities.
Our purpose is to support people to have better quality inter-personal relationships with on another, and to use theatre and drama-based activities as a methodology to achieve this; helping people connect, have fun, learn and grow together.
Referral of Young Person (0-18 years old) Self-referral, referral by a parent, carer, G.P., school or relevant professional.
Single Point of Access (SPA)
The Single Point of Access (SPA) is for young people with a GP in in Newcastle and Gateshead requiring a mental health assessment or intervention.
Referrals will be reviewed and triaged so young people are referred to the right service at the right time for onward assessment and treatment or advice and guidance.

Care to Learn, which was started 20 years ago as part of the Teenage Pregnancy Strategy, continues to provide funding for childcare to help young parents continue in education after the birth of a child. Young parents are defined as those aged under 20 at the date they start their study programme. It can help the young parent with any additional travel costs involved in taking the child to the childcare provider and also provides funding for childcare whilst young parents are on work placements or industry placements, where these are a defined part of the study programme.
Serving hot breakfasts, lunchtime favourites and top-quality coffee. Cafe Hope Cowgate is a place for families and people from the local community to enjoy affordable meals in a friendly space. Based at our Cowgate Centre site, its profits help keep our life-changing services accessible to babies, children, young people and their families.

We’re a charity that supports adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s with a cancer diagnosis, through a range of in-person and online activities. There is never a good time to have cancer, but we know that you face different issues to older or younger people. Work, relationships, mental health, fertility, travelling – we’re here to guide you through this and more.
In April 2022, Havannah First School was created when Broadway East First School relocated to Newcastle Great Park and changed its name to reflect the new location. This move has been planned for a long time and we are delighted to now be in our wonderful, state of the art brand new school and grounds. We are still part of the Gosforth Schools' Trust and are part of the Gosforth three tier Pyramid.
