There are two areas in our soft play. One is for younger children 0-2 years old. The other area is for 2-6 year olds.

Our group is welcoming, friendly and an inclusive mainstream session. We are open to every child under 5. This is a music session.
We offer:
- a safe and stimulating baby area
- Physical activity
A parent and toddler group is a welcoming and friendly group of adults. This includes mothers, fathers, childminders or carers.
They all come together in their own community with their children who are under the age of 5.
Parent and toddler groups offer play opportunities for children from birth to 5 year old, as well as an opportunity to mix with others. They also offer support to adults and a break from the normal routines of the day.
Booking maybe required at some groups.

Gosforth Civic Theatre is an arts venue, café and community hub in Gosforth, and is home to, and run by, Liberdade Community Development Trust.
We opened Gosforth Civic Theatre in 2016, and in 2019 we hosted more than 900 events and activities, and invited over 50,000 people through our doors. In the words of Ozzy, one of our founding members, we opened the theatre because;

Bringing together 4 successful North East based entrepreneurs, students will hear the personal business journeys of the speakers as they delve into successes, failures and how they went about creating their own businesses. Confirmed speakers include Jane Meynell, Founder of Olive & Bean and Steve Rawlingson, CEO of the Samuel Knight Group with operations in the UK and USA, with additional speakers to be confirmed.

Eco Influencers is a six-month program for young people aged 16-17, offering them the chance to make an impact on their local environment through eco-conscious projects and social action.

The Big One draws together a huge number of Newcastle Hospitals Trust professionals to meet young people and inform them about career opportunities within the NHS. With a morning and afternoon session targeting different Key Stages, students will engage with around 10 different departments to learn what it’s really like to work with people who have health concerns.
A series of sector specific cohort events taking small groups of young people on a number of events exploring careers within their chosen sector of interest. Designed to give a higher number of meaningful employer encounters with a variety of employers within a specific industry, applicants will be required to commit to a number of event dates across each cohort group and we ask that students have a genuine interest within each area when expressing interest.

The Radiography Department at the Freeman Hospital are inviting us behind the scenes to understand what Radiographers do, what you need to become one and to physically see some of the diagnostic machines in action.
A truly unique event, we encourage only students who have a genuine interest in progressing into this profession, or to finding out more, to express interest in places.
Suitable for students who are
PRISM NE is a support group for trans and non-binary young people set up by young people themselves, to provide a space where they are free to be who they are. We plan activities, workshops, occasional trips and residentials.
Every 2 weeks
Throughout our camps, the children will get the opportunity to take part in lots of different activities ranging from a variety of arts and crafts to dance and fitness as well as board games, and sports games. The days are open to boys and girls from Yr3 - Yr6, the camps are FREE for FSM children and include a hot, nutritious meal and snacks throughout the day. Drop in for anyone who finds themselves in financial difficulty or is in urgent need of basic provisions. All adults, parents and carers are welcome and family food parcels are available. Children can attend with parents/carers but must supervised. Referral is not required, but please bring evidence of ID and any benefits you are receiving.
