Family Play Sessions for all children with parental supervision

Dates:Tuesday 29th July and 5th, 12th and 19th August 2025

Time: 9:30am-1:30pm

For all children with parental supervision (siblings can come too!).  Priority places will be given to children in receipt of free school meals.

Activities to include indoor and outdoor play session, crafts, food exploration and sensory play.

Lunch will be provided for the children registered via Sportsfin, from 12.00—12:45pm

Working within the private, public and third-sector delivering programs to suit a range of needs for commercial, corporate and voluntary beneficiaries. This includes schools, colleges, universities, community centres, NHS (National Health Service), LEA's (Local Educational Authorities) and charities.

All sessions are 10am to 2pm

North East Dance are providing FREE Dance and Fitness sessions. Session for children aged 5-12 years old who receive FREE school meals.

The sessions are a mix of dance and fitness styles including Street Dance, general dance, Zumba, and much more.

No appointment needed. 

If you would like to weigh your own baby please follow the guidance poster at the venue using the QR code. This will tell you how to weigh your own baby.

There are physical activities to get you moving and passive activities too, such as Arts n Crafts.We organise trips to the seaside and funfairs too. Events like Magic show and 'Glow in the dark disco'. Hot or cold food is provided free for those entitled toschool meals.

Sensory and soft play fun. Suitable for ages 5 and under. Under 1s go free.

The Owl Tree Childrens Café CIC is a parent support group offering a safe, affordable and accessible space for parents and children up to the age of 7 years.  We offer a range of activities and classes in our building, including a sensory room.  At the heart of our building is our themed play café, offering weekly themed activities, songs, crafts and sensory play.

A welcoming and friendly group. For parents, carers and their babies. Lots of games and play to help your baby develop.

Did you know we have a children's Craft Club at Kenton Library? Come and join us from 11am every Saturday morning and create something exciting to take home!

The Craft Club is free, with no need to book in advance. There are new crafts to enjoy every week and all materials are provided.
