Newcastle College is the largest FE provider in the North East. It also offers more courses across a wider subject area than any other college in the region.

After studying at Newcastle College, you will be in the perfect position to find employment or to continue onto higher education.
Newcastle College is a training provider that offers apprenticeships, traineeships and employability skills training. Newcastle College also offer a Sixth Form provision and further and higher education.

TyneMet is ideally located between Newcastle city centre and the beautiful North Tyneside coastline. Our main campus is situated on the Coast Road, just minutes away from the city or the coast. Our dedicated Sixth Form College, Queen Alexandra, is located a few minutes down the road at Hawkeys Lane in North Shields.
We are here to help you to succeed, right from the first day you walk through the door to the day you leave.
Our nursery will be open for 3-4 year olds and we are currently full with a waiting list for 23-24.

Time to Talk Next Steps is free support for young people in England in this age group with additional needs. It is for young people who are experiencing anxiety, isolation and who have limited or no plans for the future. You may be in school or in college or have finished all education and be unsure how to move forward.
In April 2022, Havannah First School was created when Broadway East First School relocated to Newcastle Great Park and changed its name to reflect the new location. This move has been planned for a long time and we are delighted to now be in our wonderful, state of the art brand new school and grounds. We are still part of the Gosforth Schools' Trust and are part of the Gosforth three tier Pyramid.
