We provide activities for young people 8-19 years in and around Elwick. We offer a wide range of developmental activities and lots of fun and adventure. Activities are different each week. For our older Seniors (age 13 - 19 years) we offer 3 Duke of Edinburgh drop-in sessions, here you can complete your award with us or just come in and hang out with your friends.
Are you a creative builder? Come and join one of our free Lego Clubs at your local library.
No need to book, all materials are provided. Suitable for ages 4+, children must be supervised by a parent or carer.
We love story times at Newcastle Libraries - they encourage language development, help foster a love of books, and most importantly, they're really, really fun!
Enjoy stories in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, explore what the library has to offer, make friends and listen to stories that will encourage young children to develop a life-long love of books from an early age. These sessions do not need to be pre-booked, please feel free to drop in.
