Our team of skilled staff provide residential short breaks to local families. Up to six children and young adults can stay at any one time in our relaxed, home-from-home environment.
Children from birth to 18 can benefit from short breaks here. Teenagers benefit from their own living area – complete with games consoles, wide screen TV and PC’s.
We also care for young adults aged 18- 25 in designated, age-appropriate facilities.

Our five Auton residential children's homes can be found in Newcastle, Sunderland and Darlington. Each home offers professional care and a stable environment for young people aged between seven and 17 who are unable to live with their own families.

Situated within the Alan Shearer Centre, our specialist home offers residential accommodation for adults with profound and multiple disabilities, offering longer term, safe and nurturing care and support. In addition, our disabled residents have full access to the on-site Activity Centre.
Archibald First School is situated in the heart of Gosforth and is part of the Gosforth Schools Trust. We are a two form entry First School with a Nursery as part of our Early Years Unit. There are no mixed age classes at Archibald First School, each class has a designated teacher and at least one shared Teaching Assistant. In addition to our classrooms we have a computing suite, two large halls, a library, a sensory room and additional group teaching spaces.

The school is a Community Co-educational First School. The building has a large hall and adjoining dining area. We have six classrooms for Key stages 1 & 2. We have a small group working room / medical room and library areas. We also have a centralised computer suite with controlled access to the Internet.

With new Technogym bikes recently added come along and give them a try. For children the centre boasts one of the newest Soft Play structures in Newcastle.

The Tree House Early Years Centre provides a range of Educational, Social, Therapeutic and Health activities / services for children aged 0-5 with SEND, and their families.
