Making a Difference North East is a free employability service for unemployed people over 18, who live in Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside, County Durham, Gateshead and Sunderland.
They can help you prepare for or get back into work, with support and training to suit you. This includes:
EarlyBird Plus is for parents whose child is between the ages of four and nine who has received a diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder.
Archibald First School is situated in the heart of Gosforth and is part of the Gosforth Schools Trust. We are a two form entry First School with a Nursery as part of our Early Years Unit. There are no mixed age classes at Archibald First School, each class has a designated teacher and at least one shared Teaching Assistant. In addition to our classrooms we have a computing suite, two large halls, a library, a sensory room and additional group teaching spaces.
Our aim at Dinnington First School is to provide a happy, stimulating environment where children will be encouraged to co-operate wholeheartedly with other children and staff who will help them to develop fully their individual, intellectual, physical, emotional and spiritual potential.

The school is a Community Co-educational First School. The building has a large hall and adjoining dining area. We have six classrooms for Key stages 1 & 2. The Foundation Stage Unit for Nursery and Reception age children consists of three classrooms and an outside play area / outdoor classroom. We have a small group working room / medical room and library areas. We also have a centralised computer suite with controlled access to the Internet.
Grange First School is a community school catering for a maximum of 352 boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 9 years.

We are a larger than average first school. We take children from Nursery to Year 4. We have approximately 320 children on roll and 51 members of staff.

Archbishop Runcie First School is the only Church of England school in the north of the city of Newcastle upon Tyne and we are proud to offer our children a high quality education in a Christian context. Newcastle Trampoline Park and Gym is located in the west end of Newcastle, providing excellent sport and leisure facilities for the local community. As well as a great gym which features a great range of Technogym equipment, we have a separate women only gym and the studios offer a great choice of fitness classes including Group Cycling. With new Technogym bikes recently added come along and give them a try. For children the centre boasts one of the newest Soft Play structures in Newcastle.
PALS is our personal and life skills workshop, which is totally free of charge. The workshops are for adults with additional needs and runs for 8 weeks. Our new block will be starting on 13th September so if you or someone you know would like to enrol then please contact the email address below.

Our Growing Together programme is an exciting workshop that will run every Monday for 6 weeks.
The workshops will help you to:

- Learn how to make healthy lifestyle changes that can benefit your health & wellbeing
These workshops are specifically designed for adults with additional needs and their support/carer.
The Tree House Early Years Centre provides a range of Educational, Social, Therapeutic and Health activities / services for children aged 0-5 with SEND, and their families.
The centre was officially opened by councillor Lesley Storey in September 2023. The following video showcases the opening of the Centre and highlights some of facilities and activities available for children and their families.
