Moving On Asthma has been developed by the Respiratory Research Team at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.
As a team, we are passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with asthma and this resource is designed to both support clinicians in adolescent health and equip young people with self-management skills as they prepare for the move to adult care.

We provide a safe and stimulating environment for children's learning and development. The setting implements the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and ensures all children have equal access and opportunity to actively learn and develop. Outdoor access is available all year round to extend experiences. We focus on the indivdual childs strengths and support and encourage further learning opportunities building on confidence and skills.

Heaton Community Childcare offer full day care places, a Playgroup, an Out of School Club with Holiday scheme and Crèche Facility.
We follow Early Years Foundation Stage led by children’s interests, access to a large attractive outdoor play area. We are part of Sure Start East and lead setting for South Heaton Children’s Centre.


Cuba Kids Club offer a breakfast club for our pupils between 7.30am and 8.55am. They also offer after school childcare between 3.15pm (3.00pm on Fridays) until 5.45pm
During school holidays a holiday club will be provided at one fo the 3 schools in the local area that Cuba Kids Club work in.

Clowning Around provides an Ofsted registered Breakfast, After School & Holiday Club at Ravenswood Play Centre for children who attend Ravenswood Primary School. We provide fun and affordable childcare delivered in a safe and supervised environment. Our qualified staff are DBS checked to an enhanced level, first aid qualified and are experienced in and passionate about the activities they offer.


Children come to us for 1 or 2 hours per week, during which time they participate in interactive maths and English courses that are tailored to their needs and mapped to the national curriculum.
We can take on members between the ages of 4-16. The centre acts as a positive, fun learning environment and concentrates on improving the child's confidence and self esteem so that they can reach their full potential. We also offer GCSE Maths tuition, 11+ exam preparation as well as our standard packages.


Heaton Community Centre is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation 1161406. We offer full day care places, a Nursery, an Out of School Club with Holiday Play Scheme, Onsite and Offsite Crèche Services.
We follow Early Years Foundation Stage led by children’s interests and development. We are part of Sure Start East and link families into Sure Start services. We consult with parents and complete online learning journals to track progress. Healthy snacks are included in both our childcare services and our stay and play sessions.


Little Acorns Out of School Club Ltd provide Breakfast & After School Club sessions for Children aged 4-11yrs of West Jesmond Primary School.


Hi my name is debbie hill and i am the manager of The Kidz Club.
We operate from walkergate early years centre, millers dene, walkergate, newcastle upon tyne. NE6 4XW.
Our age range is from : 3- 11 years.
Our hours of work are : 7.30 - 9.00 am breakfast club
3.00 - 6.00 pm after school club.
each child is given breakfast / small snack at the appropriate times.


We provide breakfast club and after school club for children aged three years plus as well as a holiday club at this venue!
Holiday club is open 8:00am-5:50pm for children aged three years plus.
We can offer additional 15 hours funded childcare within our out of school club services as well as within our preschool service.




We are delighted to announce that we will be running an after school club for Milecastle Primary School pupils. The club will be based in the community room and places will be available for pupils from years 1-6.
The sessions will run Monday to Friday 3.10pm to 5.40pm during term time only.
A healthy snack will be provided as part of the cost.
