During my 29 years in childcare I worked in many areas including Nursery, Reception, Special Needs, Nanny and now childminding. I provide a variety of activities from imaginative play to construction craft and music depending of the child’s needs and abilities. I attend Kingston Park childminder dropping and toddler groups. Also I take the children on outings some of our favourite places include Leazes Park Saltwell Park, Thornley Woods, Bowlam Lake the library and Dobbies Garden Centre.
I am very reliable and very caring and have over 9 years of childcare experience working with children between the ages of 0 and 11 years. I have alse gained valuable experience from my role as a mum to my 2 boys. My qualifications include a BA Honours Degree in Children and Young Persons, First Aid training, Safeguarding Children training and a variety of other helpful training courses.
In my home we have lots of toys both educational and fun, jigsaws, musical instruments, dolls, dressing up clothes, play dough, painting, sticking, glueing, and I have a computer.
I have a large back garden with a very large field attatched where we play with outdoor toys.
We visit soft play toddler groups, singing groups, story time groups, parks, beach, and Jesmond Dene.

We have a lovely garden to promote daily exercise and teach the children about nature and three large play rooms. The children actively care for the rabbit and the guineapigs by feeding and playing with them.
We have a huge variety of educational toys in the setting and a very cosy atmosphere to ensure your child can still sleep when they would normally at home.
We provide breakfast club and after school club for children aged three years plus as well as a holiday club at this venue!
Holiday club is open 8:00am-5:50pm for children aged three years plus.
We can offer additional 15 hours funded childcare within our out of school club services as well as within our preschool service.
- We offer 2, 3, and 4 years funded education as well as paid for places.
- We provide a wrap around service to the onsite nursery school at English Martyrs’
- We offer access to our breakfast and after school clubs on site, so children can access childcare from 8:00am-5:50pm for children ages 3 and over.

Hi my name is Louise and I offer a home from home environment for your children. A caring, loving and educational setting where your little ones can feel safe and part of an extended family.
With over 28 years of childcare experience, including two children of my own, one a teacher in an SEN school and the other teaching Vietnamese children English (in Vietnam) They both took up careers in education having been inspired by all the lovely children.
I have a large range of toys activities and resources including an enclosed garden and a field which I have access behind my house. I provide a fun play experience where children can develop and be happy.
I go out and about to toddler group, parks, soft play, Farm, beach, country parks etc.
I work closely with other childminders which gives children the opportunity to mix with lots of children and have a fantastic fun time.
We are a NOT-for-PROFIT group keeping our fees low. We offer funded places. 15 hours and 30 hours available.
We are based in a modern, purpose built classroom in the Early Years section at Westerhope Primary School. We have a large outdoor play area with a wide range of equipment. We also have use of the school field, forest school area, and outdoor stage.
We have a stimulating and welcoming environment with good grades throughout and OUTSTANDING for Personal development, behaviour and welfare from our Ofsted inspection 25/4/2019.
We have lots of fun and educational toys here and my aim is to let the children who come here have as much fun as possible so that they look forward to coming here so mum and dad can go to work knowing their children are happy and safe.
We regularly visit toddler groups, soft play, little owls, gym tots, judo,music groups and the park. We also have visits to Jesmond dene as well as lots of other outings.
