I am an Ofsted registered childminder and I attained my 4th 'Outstanding' grade at my last inspection which was in January 2020. I have two level 3 qualifications relating to childcare, and through training I have become an accredited childminder. I have been childminding for 22 years.

• outdoor play equipment including climbing frame, swings, play house and slides as well as equipment suitable for early years including cars, smaller slides, swings and sand/water play area
• purpose built play room, used only for childminding purposes and containing a variety of toys and games from ages 0-12 as well as a quiet area for reading. Our reading area also has a wide variety of educational posters

Wrap around care and holiday care available 48 weeks of the year.

Children accepted from 2 years to 4 years 11months. It is £18/£30 per session. Wrap around at £6 per hour per child. or £56 per day occasional care inc snack

We provide a safe and stimulating environment for children's learning and development. The setting implements the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and ensures all children have equal access and opportunity to actively learn and develop.  Outdoor access is available all year round to extend experiences. I am married with 2 adult children. I have a very friendly cat, a garden to play in that's when we are in. I like to take children to parks and play groups etc. I like play, crafts etc, etc.

Heaton Nursery is a private registered day nursery school, which has been established since 1970 and caters for children from birth to 11 years. The nursery is situated 10 minutes from Newcastle City Centre with easy access from all areas. The nursery is one of four privately owned provisions.

Shooting Stars offer high quality early years childcare and education from birth to 5 years. We also offer a wrap around care service for school aged children as well as a specialized 'Super Stars' (aged 5 - 11 years) holiday club.  With highly experienced and qualified staff, including a fully qualified early years teacher to teach the 'Big stars' (aged 3 - 4 years)
