ACANE Best Summer Ever 2025

Time: 12 noon - 5pm.

We will involve young people from the African community (5-17 years old) in 4 days/week for 16 days/4weeks activities in summer (Table Tennis, dancing,cycling, football, street cricket and trips to trampoline and soft play for both kids and young people) and provide hot meals for 30-40 young people per day.

All activities will take place at our centre (ACANE Centre) in Byker and some outdoor football in Harbottle Park.

• parents/young people can visit before the session.

The Department of Education Holiday Activity Fund programme is to support young people aged 4-16 attending Newcastle City Councils schools that are eligible for Free Schools Meals or in need during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays.
