Action Foundation - Young Lives

We provide specialised practical, emotional and social support for asylum seeking and refugee children, families and young people.

Our aim is to provide a specialised and trauma informed service that can be accessed by families or by individual young people. 

The project provides intensive support and link work, supported and sustained access to other Action Foundation projects (such as Action Language) and access and referral to external community services.

For children and young people, we offer regular youth groups in Newcastle and Gateshead, as well social, sporting activities and educational sessions to enrich their lives in and outside of school. 

From surfing to football, residential trips to circus skills we work with trusted partners to nurture and build confidence and resilience in young people.
