Chapel Mediation and Consultancy Services

Chapel Mediation and Consultancy Services provides specialist services to Local Authorities, Academy Schools, Maintained Schools, Services and Charities.

I have 23 years experience  working in the area of Special Educational Needs working with families, schools and Local Authorities to ensure children and young people have the support they need in order to progress.

I have also undertaken the NEPPS Education Law Programme.

I can offer advice and support to schools and Local Authorities regarding their legal responsibilities in relation to SEN and Disability issues and often find that someone with a little distance can offer a fresh view on the situation.

I previously ran the North East SEN Mediation Service for the 12 North East Local Authorities and achieved a very high level of agreement which avoided time consuming and costly Tribunal Hearings.

Team members are all qualified mediators and have extensive knowledge of SEN and Disability issues, we all have training in Safeguarding issues
