Company of Others - Dance Group - Best Summer Ever 2025

Company of Other is a dance theatre group based in Walker. 

Get your young one moving and making friends this summer holiday! Led by choreographer Michael Heatley, Company of Others Summer Dance Intensive offers four days of free dance workshops for 6-12 year olds and 12-17 year olds. Full of fun, creativity, and performance!

Dates: Tuesday 5th - Friday 8th August Times: 9:30am-1pm (6-12yrs) 1pm-4:30pm (12-17yrs)

This is a warm, caring and kind place to be because:

• we have a quiet/calm space for young people to chill out in,
• we offer small group work and activities,
• staff are available for discussing individual needs,
• parents/carers are welcome to have a pre-visit and to discuss individual needs prior to the activities 

The Department of Education Holiday Activity Fund programme is to support young

people aged 4-16 attending Newcastle City Councils schools that are eligible for

Free Schools Meals or in need during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays.
