Elite PE and Wellbeing @ Throckley Best Summer Ever 2025

Friday 9th August.  Monday 11th - Wednesday 13th August.  Friday 15th August. 

11am - 3pm each day

We provide children who are on means tested FSM a place to come and enjoy 4 hours of sports and activities. They will also receive a meal and snack whilst attending. The sports and activities include fencing, archery, axe throwing, dodgeball, football, gymnastics and much more. We deliver some enrichment sessions as well based around leading a healthy lifestyle, including making a meal from scratch, smoothie making and more.

This is a warm, caring and kind place to be because:

• we have a quiet or calm space for young people to chill out in
• parents/carers are welcome to discuss individual needs prior to the activities

The Department of Education Holiday Activity Fund programme is to support young people aged 4-16 attending Newcastle City Councils schools that are eligible for Free Schools Meals or in need during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays.
