The British Society for Paediatric Dentistry has launched a set of infographics with the Top 3 tips for preventing tooth decay aimed at improving oral health which have now been translated into the five languages. The aim is that the infographics will be widely used by both dental and non-dental healthcare professionals to support conversations about good oral health behaviours and become a key tool for in-surgery preventive advice. James’ Place saves the lives of men in suicidal crisis.
We are a charity offering free, life-saving treatment to suicidal men at our centres in Liverpool, London and Newcastle.
We stop men dying by suicide. Our professional therapists get quickly to the heart of a man’s suicidal crisis and help him solve it.
Newcastle United Foundation now host a Community Food Pantry from NUCASTLE in conjunction with The West End Foodbank which will enable them to support the community with additional provisions at a difficult time for many.

Eco Influencers provides opportunities for young people aged 10-18 to design and deliver their own environmental social action projects that really make a difference. The Twisting Ducks Theatre Company provides accessible opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autistic people to express themselves creatively, and to develop their skills, confidence, independence and social connections.
Our weekly Performing Arts and Music academies are for people with Learning disabilities and autistic people, aged 16 and over.
Whether you want to DJ at our club night, act on stage, or perform in a live band, our Academies can help you to achieve your goals.
Northumberland police are holding a Positive Action career’s day on Tuesday 5 March at the Civic Centre from 4-7pm.
During the session there will be speakers from a number of their departments who are involved in supporting those embarking in a career with Northumbria Police.
Newcastle United Foundation have recently established a Careers Hub based inside the Metrocentre, (upper Green Mall) where they offer a range of services, including career advice drop-in appointments, key employment skill development, job search assistance, interview prep, CV building, and connections to local employers available to anyone 16+.

Kenton Youth Project is dedicated to meeting the needs and aspirations of young people in Kenton. With a strong foundation of experience and community relationships developed over 4 years, we have engaged in consultations with the young people and key stakeholders in the community, identifying crucial areas of support and activities that resonate with young people.
Blooming births Hypnobirthing provides fully comprehensive antenatal courses to help you and your birthing partner prepare for your upcoming birth.
Led by Hypnobirthing specialist Emma Thompson, courses are held in Gosforth close to Newcastle City Centre.
A facilitated space to shape your artistic visions your way with professional support available when you want it, with studios and essential equipment for your dance, theatre arts or music projects.
Open Day
Make a Change is a free programme for anyone over 18 in Newcastle who is concerned that they might be hurting, scaring or trying to control their partner, and wants help to change their behaviour.
People can join our group programme (or in some cases work with us one-to-one) to work on understanding behaviour in relationships, and get support to make positive changes for you, your partner or ex-partner, and your children (if you have any).

We provide activities for young people 8-19 years in and around Elwick. We offer a wide range of developmental activities and lots of fun and adventure. Activities are different each week. For our older Seniors (age 13 - 19 years) we offer 3 Duke of Edinburgh drop-in sessions, here you can complete your award with us or just come in and hang out with your friends.

Our aim is to provide a specialised and trauma informed service that can be accessed by families or by individual young people.
Cafe Beam on Gosforth High Street provides a fabulous environment for young people with disabilities and learning difficulties to gain hands on work experience and learn new skills and develop confidence.
We are looking for regular volunteers to provide practical support for our youngsters usually for one morning or one afternoon on a weekly basis. This role is extremely rewarding and varied and you will acquire a real insight into the operational side of our organisation as well as gaining valuable experience in working with people with special needs.
