The Lighthouse Project Best Summer Ever 2025

This summer at The Lighthouse Project we are having our First Summer of Fun HAF Programme and it's set to be bursting with fun, food, and fantastic memories! We’re teaming up with amazing people like Nourish Food School for cookery skills and cooking up your own delicious meals to share. Active Future will get everyone moving with awesome games and sports, while Stomping Ground leads wild forest adventures—think muddy fun, den building, and loads of fresh air. We’ve even got high-energy breakdancing sessions with Alex, brilliant drumming sessions and creative surprises like art and gaming guest workshops! Whether your child loves getting messy, dancing to the beat, or simply making new friends, there’s something different every day—and it’s all completely free.

Thursdays and Fridays throughout the six week summer holidays form 10.30am - 2.30pm

We don't have our booking link yet - we hope it will be available through SportFin from week of 7th July - all enquiries by email until then.

This is a warm, caring and kind place to be because:

• we have a quiet or calm space for young people to chill out in
• we offer small group work and activities
• parents/carers are welcome to discuss individual needs prior to the activities.
• we have a walk though video of our offer
• Our website will be launched soon with loads of additional information - we also have great accessibility within our building, accessible toilets 

The Department of Education Holiday Activity Fund programme is to support young people aged 4-16 attending Newcastle City Councils schools that are eligible for Free Schools Meals or in need during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays.
