Housing Advice Centre - Newcastle City Council
If you need housing advice, if you are at risk of homelessness or you are homeless and have nowhere to stay, please contact the Housing Advice Centre (HAC). Staff at the Housing Advice Centre will assess your situation and give you free, confidential advice with the aim of helping you to keep your home or assisting you to find one that meets your needs.
We provide advice and assistance on a range of housing problems, including:
- landlord or tenant disputes
- housing options
- housing benefit
- homelessness
- specialist debt advice
- general benefits information
- signposting to specialist benefits advice

If you have nowhere to stay tonight, contact the Housing Advice Centre. You can speak to an out of hours call handler when the HAC is closed.
