Nystagmus Network

Nystagmus Network is a charity that helps people with nystagmus, a condition where the eyes move uncontrollably. They offer many services to support families and children with nystagmus.

Support Services

  • Meet-Ups: Regular meetings, both in-person and online, for parents and adults with nystagmus to connect and share experiences.

  • Help Line: Call 01427 718093 during office hours for advice and support.

  • Education Help: Guidance on getting special education support for children with nystagmus.

  • Benefits Advice: Assistance with understanding and applying for benefits related to nystagmus.

Awareness and Advocacy

  • Nystagmus Awareness Day: Held on June 20th to raise awareness about nystagmus.

  • Training: Workshops for schools, employers, and clinics to better support people with nystagmus.

Research and Development

  • Research Projects: Funding and participating in studies to learn more about nystagmus.

  • Annual Symposium: An event where experts and patients discuss the latest research.

Community Engagement

  • Events and Competitions: Activities to bring the community together.

  • Membership: Join the Nystagmus Network to support their work and have your voice heard.
