An 8 week programme for parents/carers of babies 0-6 months to support you and your baby.
This group supports parents/carers to:

The Incredible Years® evidence based parenting programs focus on strengthening parenting competencies and fostering parent involvement in children’s school experiences, to promote children’s academic, social and emotional skills and reduce conduct problems. The parenting programs are grouped according to age: babies (0-12 months), toddlers (1-3 years) and preschoolers (3-6 years)

Supporting your Independence
We provide a range of information, advice and support services relating to all aspects of disability. Our quality advice and support is free*, confidential and impartial. We also work to support carers and those working within the health and social care system.

This is an inclusive youth group for young people with physical, sensory, and learning disabilities. There is a focus on having fun in a safe environment. Activities will be related to independent living, life skills and personal relationships.
£3 per person
8-13 Yrs | 5-6PM
14+ Yrs | 6-7.30PM

Inspired Support helps people with learning difficulties or autism. They aim to help develop talents, social skills, life skills, and more. There is a particular focus on the needs and wants of the individual and having fun. Sessions are led by local professionals and can focus on:

For ages 10 - 12 years
Each session contains a mixture of activities including:
- sports,
- cooking,
- arts and crafts,
- challenging games.
Each session always has mixed ability activities to suit the needs of the children and young people. We also work with local artists to provide more enriching activities for everyone to engage within.

For young people in years 6 to 7/ages 10 to 12.
We offer activities with more focused learning opportunities including:
- mixture of creative arts
- multisport
- cooking
- STEM activities
- out-door play & gardening
- drama & dance
The young people also participate within their planning.
We provide after school support for Primary aged students which revolve around different degree subjects students may not of had the chance to learn about before (e.g chemistry, Ancient Civilisations) This also covers maths and English support. For Secondary school students, we provide 1-1 support, as well as free access to chromebooks, free printing, and resources such as revision guides. We have a team of staff and volunteers with different subject specialties.


I access Sure Start Centres for a variety of activities. I take the children swimming, and visit Gosforth Park. There is a group of childminders who get together on a regular basis with the children where they interact.
I have a large house and conservatory which the children have access too and a large enclosed back garden where the children are free to play securely.
James’ Place saves the lives of men in suicidal crisis.
We are a charity offering free, life-saving treatment to suicidal men at our centres in Liverpool, London and Newcastle.
We stop men dying by suicide. Our professional therapists get quickly to the heart of a man’s suicidal crisis and help him solve it.


In my home we have lots of toys both educational and fun, jigsaws, musical instruments, dolls, dressing up clothes, play dough, painting, sticking, glueing, and I have a computer.
I have a large back garden with a very large field attatched where we play with outdoor toys.
We visit soft play toddler groups, singing groups, story time groups, parks, beach, and Jesmond Dene.


An interactive music and song sessions are led by an early years music specialist – help your little ones continue to develop their speech and language skills.
Admission is £5 (for one adult and one child), and £1 for additional children with the same adult. No need to book, just turn up on the day!


Jellytots Pre-School work in partnership with Parent and Carers. We provide a safe, caring, creative environment.
A parent and toddler group is a welcoming and friendly group of adults. This includes mothers, fathers, childminders or carers.
They all come together in their own community with their children who are under the age of 15 months.
This parent and toddler group offers play opportunities for children from birth to 15 months old, as well as an opportunity to mix with others. They also offer support to adults and a break from the normal routines of the day.
Booking maybe required at some groups.

Jesmond Lawn Tennis Club is a small and friendly club located in the heart of Jesmond, just 5 minutes from Newcastle City Centre. The club was founded in 1883 and has a long and distinguished history which includes member Muriel Robb winning Ladies Singles at Wimbledon in 1902.

JET is a registered charity who work in and around Tyne & Wear to support those with English as a second language and from an ethnic background. This includes those from the settled community with English as their first language, as well as refugees and asylum seekers, EU migrants and third country nationals, many who have come to the UK through marriage . We can give you support to help you to move nearer to finding work, including specialist employment related ESOL classes, integration activities and trips, as well as using NARIC through our National Careers Service contra
Holiday Activities only.
This is a sports camp. We provide various activities including football, dodgeball, basketball, dance, mini trampoline, gymnastics.

Learning through play in a safe & stimulating environment your child will be encouraged to reach their full potential at their own pace.


I have passes for local soft plays and the Centre for Life. We go to toddler groups at Fenham library, St. Roberts and the Laing. We also attend all the local parks ie. Nunsmoor, Leazes and Exhibition with trips further afield during the school holidays.
Free to attend fitness and exercise sessions for young people ages 13-19 and up to 25 with SEND. Sessions will provide a diverse range of activities such as boxing training and circuits, as well as more traditional gym classes to appeal to as a wide range of the young community as possible and maximise participation.

8-11 years old: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 5pm.
