Pride Space

Who are Pride Space?
Pride Space is facilitated by Pride Action North, and Space to Grow (The Children’s Society) and is an LGBT+ young person led space, for children aged 8 - 16.  The group aims to support LGBT young people to gain sense of community, combat social isolation, and support their wellbeing.

How can I refer a child to Pride Space?
Pride Space is a referral based group, this referral can be completed by a parent/carer, or professional. Please contact: SpaceNewcastle@ChildrensSociety.org.uk to receive a referral form.

Where does Pride Space run?
Upon accepted referral, Pride Space will send all relevant meeting information to the young person, their parent/carer, and appropriate professional. This group runs from 3:45-6:45 in Newcastle city centre.
