Bringing together 4 successful North East based entrepreneurs, students will hear the personal business journeys of the speakers as they delve into successes, failures and how they went about creating their own businesses. Confirmed speakers include Jane Meynell, Founder of Olive & Bean and Steve Rawlingson, CEO of the Samuel Knight Group with operations in the UK and USA, with additional speakers to be confirmed.

Marketing continues to be a popular subject with many employment opportunities available within this field. A huge part of the creative sector here in the North East, marketing agencies bring together specialists with different skills to deliver for clients giving staff the unique chance to work across many brands, products and projects. Join us as we visit two very different city centre businesses to experience what life is like working at a marketing agency. Lunch will be provided
SEN sessions at the Owl Tree Community Nest. Children can run, climb, and explore in the larger hall with a soft play area. They can also use the sensory room. Included is a reserved table in the main café for families with SEN children. For children aged 0-5, but older children are welcome.

The National Saturday Club, 10am - 1pm programme is FREE and has no exams. It offers 13–16-year-olds a unique opportunity to build their skills, develop their confidence, and discover pathways to further study and future careers.

We have also introduced a quieter hour from 10am to 11am every Saturday on Level 3 of City Library. We avoid making any excess noise to make the library quieter and calmer to help customers with autism and other additional needs.

A group for pre-walking babies and their carers. Join us for a group where babies learn through sensory exploration and connection.

Sessions are for children aged 11+ who have started secondary school. They are friendly and welcoming and include things like;

- arts & crafts
- project based work
- socialising with friends

We love story times at Newcastle Libraries. These sessions encourage language development, help foster a love of books, are really, really fun! Enjoy stories in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Explore what the library has to offer and make friends. Listen to stories that will encourage young children to develop a life-long love of books from an early age.
These sessions do not need to be pre-booked, please feel free to drop in.

Baby Massage is a lovely way to enjoy time with your baby. It can help with bonding, colic, teething and circulation. Come to our friendly 5 week course.

A fun filled music and movement session with songs and rhymes.
For children under 2.
A parent and toddler group is a welcoming and friendly group of adults. This includes mothers, fathers, childminders or carers.
They all come together in their own community with their children who are under the age of 5.
Parent and toddler groups offer play opportunities for children from birth to 5 year old, as well as an opportunity to mix with others. They also offer support to adults and a break from the normal routines of the day.
Booking maybe required at some groups.
Programme for Neurodivergent Young People aged 11-25
A peer support group for people who have recently found out they are neurodivergent, or are waiting for diagnosis. Referral only.
Referrals to Masquer-Aid should be made through the NHS Newcastle and Gateshead Children and Young People's Service (CYPS), who can be contacted by their website, telephone 0191 246 6913 or freephone 0800 652 2864.
A dedicated trampoline session for customers with special educational needs and disabilities. These sessions will not be available for the general public. Trampoline socks must be worn.
