LullaBaby Newcastle offer Baby and Toddler classes from newborn to 24 months old in the Newcastle area. Classes are linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (the curriculum for birth to five years). The activities have been specifically designed and chosen to expose your baby to experiences that will build connections in the brain and promote their early development. A Specialist service for people who's lives are affected by someone else's alcohol or drug use. PROPS can offer one to one work, peer support groups, and training around substance misuse. They also offer carer and family training, respite breaks and an emergency out of hours telephone helpline. PROPS also work with young people 11+ who have been impacted by someone else’s drug or alcohol misuse.
If you know anyone who may be affected by drug or alcohol misuse, please contact us to make a referral or alternatively we would be happy to discuss this further with you.
The Alan Shearer Short Break Centre offers specialised breaks, from overnight to longer stays, for children and adults with a range of disabilities.
Our dedicated staff are trained in caring for people with profound and multiple disabilities, autism and Asperger's Syndrome.

Sensory Spaces was set up to address the needs of all children at local events and to encourage families to attend. The aim is to provide a safe, relaxing space where children can listen to music and stories, explore their creativity, dress up, play and have fun.

Samaritans of Tyneside have been in Newcastle-upon-Tyne since 1965 serving the local communities of Newcastle, Gateshead and south-west Northumberland. Now based at 15 Portland Terrace, Jesmond, NE2 1QQ, we are near Jesmond Metro Station and on the B1600. Unfortunately, we are unable to see face to face callers at the Branch right now, but our volunteers are still going in every day to answer the telephone and reply to emails.
Our group is focused on providing sessions for all children under 5 and their parents or grandparents which gives an opportunity to borrow toys from our Toy Library loan service.
