Byker Primary School is a welcoming, friendly school set inside the Byker wall, in the East end of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Children from a range of different cultures and backgrounds are encouraged to do their best and aim high. Canning Street is a unique school situated in the inner-west of Newcastle and draws children from Benwell, Elswick and West City. Thomas Bewick School is a special school within Prosper Learning Trust in Newcastle upon Tyne. It is for children and young people between three and nineteen years with autistic spectrum conditions. All pupils have a Statement of Special Educational Needs/ Education Health and Care Plan or are in the assessment process. They have a range of learning difficulties; some will require a high level of adult support to access the curriculum, whilst others achieve close to age-related expectations in some areas.

Wyndham Primary School is rated by Ofsted as a good school with some outstanding features.
We cater for approximately 240 children age 2+ - 11 years, including a 26 place Nursery and Playgroup class. The school has occupied its present site for over 50 years and is located between two very different residential areas in the north of the city of Newcastle.

Hadrian is a school for primary aged children with a wide range of additional needs including complex, profound and multiple learning disabilities, severe and moderate learning difficulties, speech and language needs, physical, perceptual and sensory needs. Pathways 4 All is a parent-led charity, providing leisure services for children and young people with disabilities/ additional needs (0-25 years old). Our primary service is a specialist play and activity provision, the Tim Lamb Centre (in the grounds of the Rising Sun County Park, Benton). Our centre is open to families from across the North East region.
A travelling multi-sensory resource for children with disabilities, their families and friends. Activities include music, storytelling and creative play. Sensory Spaces appears at festivals and family events in the region.
Sensory Spaces was set up to address the needs of all children at local events and to encourage families to attend. The aim is to provide a safe, relaxing space where children can listen to music and stories, explore their creativity, dress up, play and have fun.
