Pathways 4 All is a parent-led charity, providing leisure services for children and young people with disabilities/ additional needs (0-25 years old). Our primary service is a specialist play and activity provision, the Tim Lamb Centre (in the grounds of the Rising Sun County Park, Benton). Our centre is open to families from across the North East region.

Indoor facilities at the Tim Lamb Centre include; an all-age soft play area, indoor trampolines, interactive sensory room, toddler room, ICT suite, games room and café. The centre in on one level, has ramped access and there is a disabled toilet with a changing bed and hoist.

The Tim Lamb Centre benefits from a large fully enclosed play-garden; with playground equipment including an accessible sensory tower, accessible roundabout and wheelchair accessible swing. There are also play towers, swings, spinners, trampolines and a cruise-line zip-wire.

Although we largely support families, our facilities are also popular with several local special schools and other disability related charitable organisations.

Pathways 4 All offer short break care activities for disabled children, teens and young adults; including term time social activity groups and a youth club. We also run an Easter and Summer playscheme.

As a family-focused charity, we work with wider family members too; hosting regular parent-carer coffee mornings and sibling focused activities.

Pathways 4 All operate all our services on a family membership basis. Our membership is available to any family whose child/ young person has disabilities/ additional needs*. We know the journey to diagnosis can be a long one, so we welcome families whose children are pre-diagnosis too. *(Evidence of disability/ additional needs will be required on your first visit).

Space 4 Us

Social Activities Programme is for young adults aged 18 – 25 years. This is a great opportunity for young disabled adults to take part in a range of fun centre-based social activities alongside local community outings. Close supervision and additional support is provided by a dedicated and caring staff team.

The project operates Monday – Friday, 9.30am-2.30pm, (term-time only) with individuals able to attend for one or more days each week, so it can fit around college or any other part-time day provision they are already attending.

If you would like to know more about our Space 4 Us programme please email Rebecca or call 0191 266 5233 during normal office hours.
