We’re excited to let you know that Stomping Grounds North East will be running a Summer Holiday Club at Benwell Nature Park this year for children and young people aged 5-12 and in receipt of benefit-related free school meals. Our sessions will be full of outdoor fun, nature-based play, and exciting activities for children to enjoy in a safe, supportive environment. Access to child-led experiences in nature is proven to support good mental health and well-being.


SVP Deaf Centre is a charity providing care, comfort and compassion for disadvantaged families and individuals within the community, both non-hearing and hearing alike. As the centre is part of the wider organisation of St Vincents de Paul, we embody SVP values while also having a unique focus on bettering the lives of those who have experience of deafness
We've got lots on this summer. There will be trips, sports and games, and lots of opportunities to have fun while learning. Our exciting project this year is a Community Art Installation. We will work with clay, drawing and music, inspired by local sites.

True Colours is an inclusive theatre school for children and young people living in the North East. They run classes designed to build confidence and celebrate diversity in a safe and nurturing environment.

Newcastle Careers Team are holding careers advice drop-in sessions for 16-19 year olds that live in Newcastle.
We can offer advice about careers and jobs, apprenticeship vacancies and applications, training opportunities and study options such as 6th form, college courses or Study Programmes.
Monday afternoons
For girls aged 8-13 years. Play music, sing, mc, learn an instrument.
Come and sing with us! Our youth choir will provide a place of belonging. It is a family where young people can be educated on the rich heritage of gospel music. They can explore harmonies and learn to work together.

The Gaming Social is a weekly gaming drop in for young people to socialise and mix in a relaxed environment. This is free so anyone can attend. Gamers can play a huge range of consoles with friends.

Our Contemporary Dance Class is open to young people with learning disabilities who enjoy dance.
All you have to do is turn up! Led by a qualified contemporary dance practitioner.
Beginners contemporary is perfect for those wishing to attend a fun class. This class will leave you feeling energised, inspired and worked out!
