The Newcastle Careers and Guidance Team offers impartial and confidential careers information, advice and support to young people up to the age of 19 without an Education Health and Care Plan (EHC plan) if they live in Newcastle or attend a Newcastle school. (Please note, young people with an EHC plan are supported by their SEN caseworker)
Our focus is on preparing young people aged 14-19 for the world of work. We achieve this using our state of the art learning facilities in the heart of the West End of the city.
You should choose Trinity Solutions if you want the chance to learn and gain qualifications (including GCSE English and maths) in a real working environment, while also having the opportunity to gain real work experience with local employers. Our Regional Engagement Team offer specially designed activities to meet your school’s needs. Our focus is to inspire young people through fun-filled activities concentrating on teamwork and communication to build their confidence. Our 1-2 hour sessions include practical leadership & team building tasks for groups of up to 30 students.

NE1 CAN is one of a range of projects delivered by Newcastle NE1 Ltd – the Business Improvement District for the city and a not-for-profit organisation.
Nisai Virtual Academy believe that everyone has equal value and should have access to high quality education around the world. It is our mission to give traditional and non-traditional learners the skills to flourish through innovative online education and by influencing positive institutional change. We provide a friendly, supportive learning community and offer our students incredible opportunities. In essence, we support learners from Key Stages 3 to 5 and help create pathways to further education and employment through personalised learning.
The Mums group currently meet every Thursday afternoon and has been running for 4 years now.
It is a relaxed space where young women can meet with or without their children. They can have a coffee and chat, share information and advice, support each other when life seems tough, which can help to reduce feelings of isolation. Importantly the group always manage to have a laugh together.
School Nurses offer one to one support and drop in and pop up sessions to school aged children in topics ranging from mental health to public health sessions in puberty and sexual health they also offer support to families and young children with sleep, diet and toileting amongst other health related and social issues.

Start for Life combines the Antenatal and Breastfeeding Support projects. We are a team of practitioners and volunteers working alongside midwives and health visitors to offer additional support to families in Newcastle.
Sleep success workshops offer support and guidance around sleep issues for parents and carers of children aged 1-19 years old including children with additional needs.
One-off 3 hour workshops.
