The Bostey is a well-connected project in Walker and an established member of the Walker Workers group. They play a leading role in planning and developing collaborative projects with other partners in the East End of the City. Their services are aimed at local families, children, and young people. The team deliver youth sessions over 5 days per week as the demand for our services have increased.

Our Regional Engagement Team offer specially designed activities to meet your school’s needs. Our focus is to inspire young people through fun-filled activities concentrating on teamwork and communication to build their confidence. Our 1-2 hour sessions include practical leadership & team building tasks for groups of up to 30 students.

Kids Kabin’s main location is in Walker; however, we run activity hubs in locations all over the city – from Pottery Bank to Cowgate and places in between.
This activity is for 8-13 year olds.

We are an award-winning charity based in Newcastle. We work with local communities across the North East to improve their health, wellbeing and life outcomes.
Healthworks believes that everyone, regardless of the challenges they face- low income, unemployment or poor housing, should have the same opportunity to live in good health. Our aim is to support people facing these issues, to maintain and improve their health, wellbeing and life outcomes.
Family hub on a Wednesday evening 5:30 – 7pm, we provide a hot meal and arts, crafts and activities.
Children over 8 years can attend without an adult.

The Decider Skills course looks at ‘big emotions’ and how to deal with them.
It helps children, young people and adults learn to recognize these ‘big emotions’ and gives them ways to manage these thoughts, feelings and behaviors in a positive way.
