National helpline offering support to victims of forced marriage and honour based abuse. Honour crimes are not determined by age, faith, gender or sexuality, and Karma Nirvana work with all victims.
Free, anonymous dedicated FGM helpline for anyone worried a child is at risk of or has already had FGM.
The National FGM Centre is a partnership between Barnardo’s and the Local Government Association. It was established in 2015 to achieve change in the provision of services for children and their families who are affected by FGM. In 2017, the focus of their work was extended to include Breast Ironing/Flattening and Child Abuse Linked to Faith or Belief. Their website includes a knowledge hub with information, guidance and resources for practitioners and information about training.
Projects4change addresses the needs, voice and rights of young people. We work within communities and in partnership with others to create youth work projects which help young people develop and flourish into adulthood. For children 11+

Growing up can be tough especially as a young person figuring out how you fit into society and how your future holds. Interactive session with activities and food.
This is to support ages 16-25 year olds. For North Benwell Families only.
Staff are on hand to offer advice and guidance, help with C.V.’s, applying for online courses, applying to college, applying for benefits and settled status applications too. There are laptops and P.C.'s and printers available to use.
We can also support young people with housing issues, apostils, document identity, opening bank accounts, and navigating the universal credit system.

The Peer Educators deliver preventative domestic abuse and healthy relationship workshops in schools, colleges, youth groups, children’s homes and any setting where young women are present.
We offer a range of outdoor and adventure activities including canoeing, paddle boarding, climbing, multisports, Duke of Edinburgh, coasteering, archery and loads more.
We accomodate school parties from year 2 upwards. Our activities and packages can be delivered on-site at your school or off-site, dependent on the activity. We have lots of options to choose from, with a huge variety of activities available. Our primary school options focus on skills such as resilience, problem solving, planning, and leadership.

Young people aged 10 - 25 (school year 6 upwards) meet new friends, develop self-confidence and create original plays that reflect their views and opinions in weekly sessions delivered by some of the most exciting theatre makers in the region.
Live Youth Theatre meet weekly throughout the school year, starting in late September. Over three exciting terms young people will develop their skills in stage craft, develop a new play to perform on the stage and explore scripts that have been produced and performed here at Live Theatre.
Northern Stage is a theatre in Newcastle City Centre, very close to Haymarket. You can enjoy plays, dance, comedy and musicals on all of our three stages.
We have family shows throughout the year and at Christmas we have two magical shows one for under 5s and one for over 5s.

This is a warm, caring and kind place to be because:
- We offer small group work and activities
- Parents/carers are welcome to have a pre-visit and to discuss individual needs prior to the activities
We work with children and young people age 8-25 offering group activity sessions based on their age, one to one support, detached work and offsite activities.
Our regular Family friendly session take place every Friday from 3-4pm. At this event you can take part in free creative tasks and activities designed for all ages in a welcoming, quiet and safe space.

The Women’s Art Group is a friendly space for women who would like to:

• meet other women in the community

We are interested in all sorts of art. During school holidays we run family activity sessions.
The group is run by artist Louise Underwood and family practitioner Christina Richardson on behalf of New Writing North and Action for
Children.
