Pathways 4 All is a parent-led charity, providing leisure services for children and young people with disabilities/ additional needs (0-25 years old). Our primary service is a specialist play and activity provision, the Tim Lamb Centre (in the grounds of the Rising Sun County Park, Benton). Our centre is open to families from across the North East region.

Free Story Time workshops for young children and their families. Come and enjoy a new book each week, with games, crafts and snacks.

The garden works with nature to create a great place for people and wildlife to enjoy. The garden is about our community, whether in Scotswood and Benwell or the wider area, and we welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to get involved in our work. This can be as a visitor to the garden, as a member of our volunteer team, or as a participant in one of our events. We welcome you to visit and enjoy the fruits of our labours.

Our Target Golf programme is very successful in engaging people of all ages and abilities, including people with limited mobility and those who do not traditionally take part in physical activities.

Welcome to the website of Northumbria Army Cadet Force (ACF). The ACF is one of the UK's oldest, largest and most successful youth organisations. Sponsored by the Ministry of Defence it has a long and proud history of preparing young people to achieve the most out of their lives. Boys and and girls aged between 12 and 18 are eligible to join. They participate in a varied programme of military training which includes map reading and shooting, sport and adventurous activities including the Duke of Edinburgh's award scheme.

Learn basic values and practices of Shia Islam Religion
At North East School of Ahlul Bayt (NESAB), we aim to teach and develop insight into the values of Shia Islam religion, and Eastern Culture among children aged 5-15 years, belonging to this faith. Our medium of teaching is English, although basic Arabic needed to read and recite Holy Quran will also be taught.
Our 4 main subjects include Reading and learning Holy Quran; Islamic Ethics, Culture and Values (Akhlaq); Muslim History (Tareekh); and Shia Islamic Beliefs and Religious Laws (Aqaid & Fiqh).

Our award-winning multi-sensory music classes help to enhance the development of babies and toddlers.
Rhythm Time offers fun, quality music sessions to help nurture and develop your child's innate musical ability. The activities are specifically designed to ENHANCE EVERY CHILD'S DEVELOPMENT and build their confidence, creativity and co-ordination.
An inclusive art class held on the first and third Saturday of every month for 8-15 year olds.
Participants will have the opportunity to work with professional art educators, working in a different medium or with a different technique each month. This group aims to be fully inclusive and anyone with additional needs is welcome.

Since its inception South North has been the Premier League’s most successful club winning the league championship ten times in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015, the Banks Salver in 2000, 2007 and 2012 and the 2nd Division in 2004 and 2008. 2006 proved an extremely successful year with the 1st XI also winning the prestigious Cockspur Cup, claiming the title of best club side in Britain. The 1st XI added to this in 2008 by being crowned champions of the inaugural Cockspur 20/20 Cup at the finals day held at the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff.

Gosforth Basketball Club was established in September 2011 for children aged 10 – 16 and will compete in the Eagles Community Foundation Central Venue League.

Sounds Good To Me is a welcoming singing group for adults with additional needs. We sing popular songs in unison in a supportive environment, where you can take your time to learn the songs one line at a time. Some participants prefer to listen and that is great, everyone is welcome to join us.

Swimfun North East is a new swim school (est. April 2017) that provides high Quality swimming lessons for people of all ages. Lessons are fun and aim to develop water confidence and swimming technique and skills within the national framework.
We are an inclusive swim school and we welcome people from all backgrounds and abilities, safeguarding is a priority. All teachers are nationally qualified, DBS checked and members of Swim England.

Razzamataz Theatre Schools was launched in 2000 and achieved national recognition in 2007 after a memorable appearance on BBC’s Dragons’ Den, winning the investment from Duncan Bannatyne, who remains a committed partner supporting all new Razzamataz ventures.

LullaBaby Newcastle offer Baby and Toddler classes from newborn to 24 months old in the Newcastle area. Classes are linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (the curriculum for birth to five years). The activities have been specifically designed and chosen to expose your baby to experiences that will build connections in the brain and promote their early development. Beacon Films CIC is a multi-award winning training and production organisation for filmmakers with learning disabilities, autism and additional needs.
For young people (aged 6 - 19) with no experience of filmmaking, Beacon Films runs a BFI Film Academy from November - February each year, during which young people learn all about filmmaking by creating and starring in their own short film. Places are FREE but limited, so contact us early to avoid disappointment!
