The Great Run Company deliver some of the finest sporting events in existence across the UK. Alongside the event arm of the business, additional product lines include Film Nova, a UK based film production arm operating globally with partners including BBC Sport, FIFA and international athletic competitions. We will gain insight into the size and scale of the firm and talk to staff before taking part in a hands on activity on the quayside. Lunch will be provided.

We are seeking a cohort of 12 students who are seriously considering committing to a future career in law as we take them into two very different and very well regarded Newcastle based law firms. Taking place across two consecutive mornings, students will join Jacksons Law on day one and Womble Bond Dickinson on day two and explore family, personal, commercial, employment, regulatory, banking, tax and property law.

Are you a neurodivergent young person aged 16-25 who could benefit from a mentor to support you with the skills for employment?
The Neurodiversity Employability Project works with neurodivergent young people, whether you have a formal diagnosis or self-identify. We match young people across Tyne and Wear with mentors who can help you:

MOVErs & Explorers is a free pre-school support group at Percy Hedley School providing a range of fun, nurturing, sensory based programmes. It is for families with young children who have neurological or motor disorders (such as cerebral palsy). They may also have associated speech, language and communication difficulties. Children are welcome to attend from the age of 3 months to preschool.
Sessions aim to work with parents develop their child’s physical, cognitive, social and communication skills via explorative play.
