This Early Years Educator course will provide you with the skills and knowledge of a child's health and early development required to work with children from birth to 5 years.

Our Regional Engagement Team offer specially designed activities to meet your school’s needs. Our focus is to inspire young people through fun-filled activities concentrating on teamwork and communication to build their confidence. Our 1-2 hour sessions include practical leadership & team building tasks for groups of up to 30 students.

The TikTok Creative Academy is an employability programme that have been empowering 18–24-year-olds to access jobs in the creative industries for over a year! As a privately funded initiative through TikTok, their program offers a unique avenue of support that can be accessed alongside other government or private programs.
Newcastle Careers Team are holding careers advice drop-in sessions for 16-19 year olds that live in Newcastle. We can offer advice about careers and jobs, apprenticeship vacancies and applications, training opportunities and study options such as 6th form, college courses orStudy Programmes.
Develop a knowledge of working with children up to the age of 5 in early years settings ,such as nurseries or pre-schools. Course provided by WEA.
Develop the skills and knowledge needed to work in an NHS setting support Midwives. Course provided by WEA.
Limited creche spaces available.
Come along to an ESOL class with a difference – all levels welcome. Free English classes provided by Action Foundation for women NOT attending college.

Newcastle Music Service in partnership with Gosforth Academy Music Department and Gosforth Schools Trust are offering young people the opportunity to play and sing with other instrumentalists
This activity is for year 3,4, 5, 6 and 7 pupils

Riverside Community Health Project is running three new short courses, Food Allergies and Risks Level 2, International Cooking, Recipe for Success. As well as their Friday Woman’s Group.
