Lemington Riverside is a 3-11 year old primary school serving the suburb of Lemington in the city of Newcastle Upon Tyne. Our school is located across three large buildings that were built in the Georgian era, we also have a Community Hub on site offering various additional services and activities to our community outside of school hours.
Our aim is to ensure that every child reaches their full potential. To achieve this, we work closely with all of our families, our community partners, our Trust members and business partners. We have the highest expectations of behaviour and work really hard to ensure our school is a safe, happy and effective environment where everyone enjoys learning.
Our Lady and St Anne’s is a Catholic school with a very diverse community and we try to follow Jesus in what we say and what we do. We provide a broad and balanced Catholic curriculum, recognising that everyone is unique and is created in the image of God (Gen 1:27). Our curriculum is designed to enable every child to reach their potential and contribute to society. We provide a wide range of extra-curricular activities and strong pastoral support.

We are a larger than average first school. We take children from Nursery to Year 4. We have approximately 320 children on roll and 51 members of staff.

St. John Vianney Catholic Primary School was opened in 1975. The school serves the Catholic community of St. John Vianney Parish.
The school stands in its own fairly extensive grounds, which currently incorporate two external demountable classrooms and a purpose built Nursery attached to the existing main building.

St Paul’s is a happy school which provides children with a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment. By working in partnership with parents and carers we aim to enable every child to fulfil their potential academically, spiritually and socially.
Stocksfield Avenue Primary School caters for children age 4 – 11 years. We also have a Nursery, which provides part-time places for children aged 3 +. The school has occupied its present site since 1957, but in September 2008 the school moved into a brand new building, purpose built for the 21st century.

West Denton Primary School was built in 1955, when it was opened as a separate infant and junior school occupying two floors. In the early 1970’s, as a result of the introduction of the 3-tier system, the school became a first school occupying the ground floor
An annexe containing 4 classrooms and a separate nursery pre-fab was also added during the 1970’s these have now been demolished and a new extension was built in 2001.
At West Walker Primary school all children are encouraged to achieve success and develop a life-long love of learning through a relevant, broad, balanced, stimulating and memorable curriculum. Sacred Heart is a one form entry Roman Catholic Primary School in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. We are proud to be the parish school of St. Robert's Church in Fenham, Newcastle and have a rich history and tradition which dates back more than 100 years. The present school was built in 1995.

St Charles’ is a 210 place single form entry Roman Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary school with a 52 full/part time place Nursery.
All staff, both teaching and non-teaching, play a valuable part in supporting the development of our children.
We have a Governing Body comprising 12 Governors, Mrs Nealings is the Head Teacher and Mrs Higgins as the Deputy Head Teacher.

We follow Early Years Foundation Stage led by children’s interests, access to a large attractive outdoor play area. We are part of Sure Start East and lead setting for South Heaton Children’s Centre.
Clowning Around provides an Ofsted registered Breakfast, After School & Holiday Club at Ravenswood Play Centre for children who attend Ravenswood Primary School. We provide fun and affordable childcare delivered in a safe and supervised environment. Our qualified staff are DBS checked to an enhanced level, first aid qualified and are experienced in and passionate about the activities they offer.
