We run a number of arts groups in Newcastle - these include visual art, dance, aerial, photography and music making.

Our groups are for disabled children/young people alongside their non disabled peers. If you have a different art interest e.g. circus, drama, pottery, poetry - we can meet up and try to find a group that suits you.

We can meet anywhere - home/school/an arts venue to discuss arts activities and groups AND we run regular inclusive sessions at The Laing (art), Dance City (aerial and dance) the library (family photo club) and music making online.

Our regular Family friendly session take place every Friday from 3-4pm. At this event you can take part in free creative tasks and activities designed for all ages in a welcoming, quiet and safe space. This is a chance to meet new people, learn about the current exhibition or spend time in our communal area.

Inclusive art class held on the first Saturday of every month for 10-15 year olds.

Founded by disabled people in 1991 Arcadea is a disability arts organisation and registered charity that works to create better access to the arts for disabled people.

The National Saturday Club, 10am - 1pm programme is FREE, has no exams and offers 13–16-year-olds a unique opportunity to build their skills, develop their confidence, and discover pathways to further study and future careers.     

A monthly Saturday social get-together for warm and friendly chat while completing any craft that you wish to bring along with you!  Small and friendly group – anyone is welcome to join us.
