Liberdade provide performing arts and health and well-being courses for adults with learning disabilities and autism. Activities are run from Gosforth Civic Theatre
Our arts and health activities can be part of a study programme for post-16 SEN students. They can also be an alternative to social and further education for students leaving college.

The Little Orange Book helps parents of under-fives with practical information about common childhood conditions. Distributed to all new mums in Newcastle and Gateshead through health visitors, this little gem helps parents and carers to recognise and respond to a range of common diseases, illnesses and conditions as well as pointing you to the most appropriate service if you need further support.
You can pick up a copy of the Little Orange Book from your GP practice.

Becoming a parent or caregiver is often thought of as one of the happiest experiences of our lives. However, we know the reality can be much more complicated and for some, can be overwhelming.
If you are finding it hard to cope, you are not alone - it is OK to ask for help. Little Minds in Mind is a service for parents and caregivers who are experiencing difficulties in their relationship with their baby, during pregnancy or after their baby is born.

We know it can be hard to walk through a food bank door. Our volunteers are kind and caring. They can help you with food and other support you might need.

Making a Difference North East is a free employability service for unemployed people over 18, who live in Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside, County Durham, Gateshead and Sunderland.
They can help you prepare for or get back into work, with support and training to suit you. This includes:

Culture Exchange is a culturally diverse group which meets every week on a Friday (term time only).
The group has been established to help families from across the world create a support network in their local community, make new friends and learn new skills through a variety of activities.

Welcome to Healthier Together – a great place to find accurate and trusted NHS healthcare advice in the North East and North Cumbria.
All the information on the Healthier Together site has been checked by clinicians, to ensure we offer the best advice for parents, carers, young people and health professionals.
You can find everything from pregnancy tips and advice on poorly babies to 'should my child go to school today?' or emotional wellbeing for young people, and we're regularly adding new topics.
Gain the knowledge and skills needed to work with children and young people in school and college environments.

Our FREE junior sessions are a safe space for children aged between 5-12 years to come and socialise, play freely, learn about the world around them and take part in activities like;
- arts and crafts
- cooking
- gardening
- group games
- sports
The sessions are led by the children, they choose what they would like to do in their youth clubs and plan their activities. Snacks and drinks are available in all sessions.

This is to support ages 16-25 year olds. For North Benwell Families only.
Staff are on hand to offer advice and guidance, help with C.V.’s, applying for online courses, applying to college, applying for benefits and settled status applications too. There are laptops and P.C.'s and printers available to use.
We can also support young people with housing issues, apostils, document identity, opening bank accounts, and navigating the universal credit system.

An interactive music and song sessions are led by an early years music specialist – help your little ones continue to develop their speech and language skills.
Admission is £5 (for one adult and one child), and £1 for additional children with the same adult. No need to book, just turn up on the day!

An independent legal support service to help protect women against domestic abuse. A network of domestic abuse experts provide advice, support and guidance to support women to protect themselves from violence, gain court orders, access legal aid and navigate court processes.
