Gosforth Central Middle School caters for a maximum of 504 boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 13 years. In recent years each year group year has been oversubscribed with particular demand in Years 5 and 7.
Most of our pupils are drawn from Archbishop Runcie, Grange and South Gosforth First Schools. However, pupils from other schools are admitted each year, so long as places are available.

Gosforth East Middle offers a rich, happy and stimulating environment for children aged 9 to 13 years. We are all very proud of our School and its successes over the years, and hope the information provided on our website and in our prospectus will give you a sense of what we have to offer.

Our values embrace honesty, trust, reliability, respect for the legitimate rights of others, care for the weaker members of society, regard for the environment and a kindness towards other people.
We believe that a calm, friendly, disciplined atmosphere, in which hard work and co-operation are respected, is the best way to promote these values.

Foster A Future recruits foster carers from all types of backgrounds because each child in our care is an individual with their own needs, experiences and personality. If you are able to provide stability, security and support to children of all ages and circumstances, we'd like to hear from you.
Orchard Care is an organisation with a proven track record that provides successful foster homes for children and young people who need them.
Orchard Care is run on a 'not for profit' basis. This means that all money is put back into the organisation for the good of the children and young people and to maintain very high standards of care and increase service provision.
We achieve the best possible care and outcomes because the organisation is run by people who are so dedicated to helping children and young people and the foster carers with whom the young people live.
Brook’s nationally recognised Sexual Behaviours Traffic Light Tool and training provides a highly visible, multi-agency response that helps professionals to identify, understand and respond appropriately to sexual behaviours in young people.
