At Children North East, we understand that expecting a baby can be such a joyous time but it can also feel overwhelming and complicated. You are not alone, we are here to help with our specialist Parent-Infant Therapy service –Little Minds in Mind!
If you, or someone you care about is expecting a baby, we can offer practical and emotional support to help you explore your feelings, share any worries and help prepare you for the exciting new chapter. We promise a friendly, relaxed and supportive group environment.
Blooming births Hypnobirthing provides fully comprehensive antenatal courses to help you and your birthing partner prepare for your upcoming birth.
Led by Hypnobirthing specialist Emma Thompson, courses are held in Gosforth close to Newcastle City Centre.
We run a number of arts groups in Newcastle - these include visual art, dance, aerial, photography and music making.
Our groups are for disabled children/young people alongside their non disabled peers. If you have a different art interest e.g. circus, drama, pottery, poetry - we can meet up and try to find a group that suits you.
We can meet anywhere - home/school/an arts venue to discuss arts activities and groups AND we run regular inclusive sessions at The Laing (art), Dance City (aerial and dance) the library (family photo club) and music making online.
Our regular Family friendly session take place every Friday from 3-4pm. At this event you can take part in free creative tasks and activities designed for all ages in a welcoming, quiet and safe space.
Inclusive art class held on the first Saturday of every month for 10-15 year olds.
