St Vincent’s Centre, Newcastle is a community support project run by the St Vincent de Paul Society. It is a community hub which offers Vinnies drop-in each Tuesday, a free 3 course lunch for local guests, with wrap-around services including free haircuts, health checks, and welfare advice. Every Thursday there is a Cost-of-Living Market, and daily Vinnies Community Pantry offers a selection of groceries at reduced prices. St Vincent’s is also home to the Justice & peace Refugee project, supporting people seeking sanctuary in the city.

Shout is the UK's first and only free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging support service for anyone who is struggling to cope.
We launched publicly in May 2019 and we’ve had more than 1.7 million conversations with people who are anxious, stressed, depressed, suicidal or overwhelmed and who need in-the-moment support.
As a digital service, Shout has become increasingly critical since Covid-19, being one of the few mental health support services able to operate as normal at this time.

Come along if you would like your baby weighed or have any questions. There will be a member of the Health Visiting team present at the clinic. Please bring your child’s red book.

We are a warm and welcoming club who are always looking for new members. We provide two Saturday XI's playing in the Northumberland and Tyneside Cricket League. Our 3rd XI play midweek cricket in the Northumberland League C Division and we also boast one midweek team in the North East Mid-Week Cricket League.

Start for Life combines the Antenatal and Breastfeeding Support projects. We are a team of practitioners and volunteers working alongside midwives and health visitors to offer additional support to families in Newcastle.

We take great pride in providing a diverse range of activities for you and your family. The sporting facilities at Benfield School, part of the Newcastle East mixed multi Academy Trust (NEAT), are used by the pupils through the school day and then the doors open to the community. The community programme is run by two separate organisations that make use of the school site during evenings, weekends and school holidays.

A parent and toddler group is a welcoming and friendly group of adults. This includes mothers, fathers, childminders or carers.
They all come together in their own community with their children who are under the age of 5.
Parent and toddler groups offer play opportunities for children from birth to 5 year old, as well as an opportunity to mix with others. They also offer support to adults and a break from the normal routines of the day.
Booking maybe required at some groups.
To improve the emotional, heath and wellbeing through use of creative activities to build self-confidence and self-esteem. Providing strategies that women can use to improve their own emotional wellbeing.
This is aimed at women who are isolated, struggling with their emotional health or wanting to build confidence and make friends.
A fun filled musical session with songs and rhymes. Suitable for under 2 years.
Sessions include physical activity and music/song time.



An 8 week programme for parents/carers of babies 0-6 months to support you and your baby.
This group supports parents/carers to:
'Stay and Play', run by Lemington Riverside Primary School in conjunction with Healthworks Pre-School Lemington
For 0-3 year olds and their adults.
Free of charge, no need to pre-book. We have a range of activities including messy play and free snacks and juice.
Sessions are led by fully-qualified Early Years staff from Lemington Riverside and Healthworks Pre-School.

Referral of Young Person (0-18 years old) Self-referral, referral by a parent, carer, G.P., school or relevant professional.
Single Point of Access (SPA)
The Single Point of Access (SPA) is for young people with a GP in in Newcastle and Gateshead requiring a mental health assessment or intervention.
Referrals will be reviewed and triaged so young people are referred to the right service at the right time for onward assessment and treatment or advice and guidance.

We believe the big screen experience should be accessible to everyone. We aim to make a warm, inviting space for all to discover the joy of cinema. Our relaxed screenings are open to all, but are particularly mindful of neurodiverse audiences.
All screenings will feature:
