The Turf @ St John's is a community facility run by St John's Primary School.
Between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm the Turf is often used by the school, however external bookings may be available for the pitch and the indoor hall & activity area. From 5pm to 9.30pm every weekday and all across the weekend a variety of sessions take place or the turf is available for private hire at extremely competitive prices
Our pitch is ideal for junior football training & 7 v 7 matches, and adult social games with friends or colleagues.
Come and join us at Gorilla bowl in Eldon Square for a free game of bowling! All participants will receive a free soft drink or hot drink and a snack.
Available to redeem any day Monday to Friday within the school holidays!
Riverside Community Health Project is running three new short courses, Food Allergies and Risks Level 2, International Cooking, Recipe for Success. As well as their Friday Woman’s Group.

Specialist session for young people diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder or in the process of a referral.
Sessions will be delivered by staff with ASD specific training and will combine football and mental wellbeing activities.

Newcastle Trampoline Park and Gym is located in the west end of Newcastle, providing excellent sport and leisure facilities for the local community. As well as a great gym which features a great range of Technogym equipment, we have a separate women only gym and the studios offer a great choice of fitness classes including Group Cycling. Magical BubbleSuds CIC was established in April 2020 making bath bombs; quickly moving into a variety of different bath and shower products which are 100% handmade.
PALS is our personal and life skills workshop, which is totally free of charge. The workshops are for adults with additional needs and runs for 8 weeks. Our new block will be starting on 13th September so if you or someone you know would like to enrol then please contact the email address below.

Our Growing Together programme is an exciting workshop that will run every Monday for 6 weeks.

These workshops are specifically designed for adults with additional needs and their support/carer.
The Tree House Early Years Centre provides a range of Educational, Social, Therapeutic and Health activities / services for children aged 0-5 with SEND, and their families.
