Cambian Dilston College is an independent specialist provider of further education in North East England, offering day and up to 52-week residential placements for young people with a learning disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder and complex needs.

Learning for Life is a registered charity and Northeast provider of education and social care services for children and adults aged 16 plus who have a diverse range of complex needs and disabilities.

Specialist Rehabilitation Services
The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury and neurodisability. We deliver rehabilitation, education and community services through skilled teams who work with children and young people, and their families.

Trinity Post-16 Solutions Ltd offers bespoke packages to young people aged 16-25 who have additional support needs.
Learners who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities (LLDD) are provided with a study programme that equips them with the skills needed for adulthood.
EHCP outcomes are at the heart of the programme to equip learners to: Live as independently as possible; prepare for employment and the world of work; become involved in social and community activity; live a healthy lifestyle.

In April 2022, Havannah First School was created when Broadway East First School relocated to Newcastle Great Park and changed its name to reflect the new location. This move has been planned for a long time and we are delighted to now be in our wonderful, state of the art brand new school and grounds. We are still part of the Gosforth Schools' Trust and are part of the Gosforth three tier Pyramid.

Our new internship offers real-world work experience and helps you gain job skills that employers want. With dedicated mentors, you'll grow in confidence and independence.
What to Expect

Pathways 4 All is a parent-led charity, providing leisure services for children and young people with disabilities/ additional needs (0-25 years old). Our primary service is a specialist play and activity provision, the Tim Lamb Centre (in the grounds of the Rising Sun County Park, Benton). Our centre is open to families from across the North East region.

Beacon Films CIC is a training and production organisation for people with learning disabilities, autism and additional needs. We have been given multiple awards for our work.
Throughout the year, we offer a variety of filmmaking projects. There are also some volunteering opportunities on short film commissions.

Inspired Support helps people with learning difficulties or autism. They aim to help develop talents, social skills, life skills, and more. There is a particular focus on the needs and wants of the individual and having fun. Sessions are led by local professionals and can focus on:

The FAB (Fantastic and Brilliant) Group is a group of young people aged 11 to 25 who have SEND.
Every month, the FAB Group come together to make friends and share experiences.

We believe in the importance of a support network of people who understand.


Our Tuesday Club is for young people with disabilities. They can stay active, make friends, and have fun. It helps them feel less alone and happier.
The club runs for two hours. There are sports and games for everyone. There is also a quiet area for relaxing.
A healthy tea is given at the club. This helps everyone stay healthy and feel good.
