West Jesmond is a truly unique school with a long history of successfully providing the highest quality education in Jesmond since 1901. West Newcastle Academy Nursery provides space and time for children to develop a deeper way of learning.

By exploring learning in small groups and in many different contexts we will ensure every child has many opportunities to learn in ways that best match their interests and abilities.

They are encouraged to be curious, to ask questions and to learn from one another.

MindEd is a free educational resource providing education about children and young people, adults and older people's mental health for all adults.

The Little Journey app has been designed by healthcare professionals, children and their parents for the sole purpose of improving how we provide medical information to families about hospital. It was created with the aim of reducing any anxiety you or your child may have, by familiarising you with what may happen and the team looking after you. Information is delivered to children and their parents based on the findings of research studies performed in the UK and abroad.
