Sessions are 9.00am to 12.00noon/2pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
We do however provide wrap around care, 5 days a week M-F, 8am-6pm, please speak to Gillian for further details.
Facilities:
- large, fully enclosed front and back gardens
- outdoor play equipment including climbing frame, swings, play house and slides as well as equipment suitable for early years including cars, smaller slides, swings and sand/water play area
- purpose built play room, used only for childminding purposes and containing a variety of toys and games from ages 0-12 as well as a quiet area for reading. Our reading area also has a wide variety of educational posters
We provide a safe and stimulating environment for children's learning and development. The setting implements the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and ensures all children have equal access and opportunity to actively learn and develop. Outdoor access is available all year round to extend experiences. We focus on the indivdual childs strengths and support and encourage further learning opportunities building on confidence and skills.
Heaton Nursery is a private registered day nursery school, which has been established since 1970 and caters for children from birth to 11 years. The nursery is situated 10 minutes from Newcastle City Centre with easy access from all areas. The nursery is one of four privately owned provisions.
I work with my wife who is also a registered childminder Christine Hall, between us we have 50 yearsexperience of caring for children. We are also parents & Grand parents ourselves and understand the needs of children. Together we provide a safe and homely enviroment allowing the children to grow and develop. We are members of N.C.A. and we keep up-to-date with our training.
We take children out to a number of places including the coast, farm, soft play and parks, this gives the children good social skills and most of all lots of fun.
I work with my husband who is also a registered childminder Michael Hall, between us we have more than 50year experience of caring for children. We are parents & Grand parents ourselves and understand the needs of children, together we provide a safe and homely environment allowing the children to grow and develop to their full potential.
I offer a warm friendly home enviroment, i have a large home with a conservatory which the children have access to, i also have a garden which is secure. I have many crafts and activities and toys for them we also go to soft play,parks.
I have over twenty years experience in childcare and i have four children myself two are at university at present.
I currently work with 3 assistants.
I offer a warm, comfortable & friendly welcoming environment. Children have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities which reflect our diverse society ie books, cooking and baking, arts and crafts, playdough, computer, trips to museums, soft play, beach, park and picnics.
We have a large secure outdoor play area providing play equipment swings, slides, seesaw, playhouse, water and sandplay we also have a greenhouse where children can grow their own fruit and vegetables.
I provide a large playroom with a range of toys and activities for all ages and stages of development. I also have a large garden with a selection of outdoor toys for children to play with.
At my setting, children can choose from a range of activities including play-dough, dressing up, arts and crafts, small world play, baking and much more.
We go on outings every day to various places including parks, toddler groups, softplay, museums and the beach.
Porch full of toys for children to help themselve. We visit Toddler groups and childminder drop in, soft play and libraries. We are in the house the least amount of time visiting parks and other out door activities. Lorraine feels that a childminder is about educating children with futher and different learning experiences.
