You will participate in football sessions with your Mini Mag, receive wellbeing support and have a chance to socialise and improve your health and wellbeing.

How to book:
Consent form must be filled out by parents, this can be done over phone, email or on the day prior to the session beginning.
We provide specialised practical, emotional and social support for asylum seeking and refugee children, families and young people.
Our aim is to provide a specialised and trauma informed service that can be accessed by families or by individual young people.
Free to attend fitness and exercise sessions for young people ages 13-19 and up to 25 with SEND. Sessions will provide a diverse range of activities such as boxing training and circuits, as well as more traditional gym classes to appeal to as a wide range of the young community as possible and maximise participation.

ACANE exists to support the settlement of asylum seekers and refugees from the African continent, who have been dispersed to the North East region and Tyneside, in particular, and to actively promote their integration with the host community so that they can lead full and active lives, and participate in and contribute to the community on an equal basis.

For refugees living in the West End of Newcastle Practical help, advice and advocacy are provided through daily drop-in advice sessions, run by WERS’ multi-lingual support worker and trained volunteers.
WERS also offers home visits for those who find it difficult to visit WERS’ offices, a clothing store, where good quality second-hand clothing and household items are offered free of charge and a hardship fund, providing emergency payments to clients in extreme need. Emotional support is offered through the accredited befriending scheme
We are an independent and charitable organisation which exists to meet the needs and promote the interests of asylum seekers and refugees who have arrived or have settled in the North of England.
The service provides confidential advice and support on all matters relating to asylum seekers and refugees, for example, welfare benefits, immigration, housing, education needs and employment skills. Home visits can be arranged if necessary.
Coram Children's Legal Centre
Part of the Coram group, Coram Children's Legal Centre is the UK's leading children's legal charity. We are committed to promoting children's rights in the UK and worldwide. We provide free legal information, advice and representation to children, young people, their families, carers and professionals, as well as training and consultancy on child law and children’s rights.
Mentoring service for young people prioritising asylum seekers & refugees aged 16-25 living in Newcastle & surrounding area. The project offers young people a one-to-one mentoring relationship matched with volunteer mentors, which is managed & supervised by staff. It is free and travel and basic refreshment costs are reimbursed.
Riverside Community Health Project works according to community development principles to improve the health and well-being of disadvantaged communities by acting with others to ensure appropriate service provision.
