Where Does It Take Place?
At Gosforth Civic Theatre's Café Bar.
Who Is It For?
Young people with learning disabilities and autism aged between 16-24 years old
How Does It Work?
- 
12-week blocks for up to 52 weeks,
 - 
Typical shift will be 9am - 3pm.
 - 
Invited to Gosforth Civic Theatre for a chat so we can find out more about you, your skills and what you want to learn.
 - 
We will ask you to take part in two taster sessions
 
What Skills Will I Develop?

Welcoming customers.
 - 
Serving and preparing food and drinks.
 - 
Qualifications in Food Hygiene.
 - 
Barista skills.
 - 
Operating the till.
 - 
Replenishing stock.
 - 
Confidence
 - 
Social skills
 - 
Communication skills
 - 
Working safely
 
Is There A Cost?
Yes. This can be funded through an education and health care plan (EHCP) or direct payments/personal budget.
