SVP Newcastle Deaf Centre Best Summer Ever 2025

We've got lots on this summer. There will be trips, sports and games, and lots of opportunities to have fun while learning. Our exciting project this year is a Community Art Installation. We will work with clay, drawing and music, inspired by local sites.

28/07/25 10 -3pm Trip to Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre 

29/07/25 10 - 2pm Police Workshop -Malicious Communications (age 9+) 

31/07/25 10am -2pm Community Art Project visit to Betty Surtees House and Prudhoe Castle (age 12+)

01/08/25 10am 12pm Badminton 1pm -3pm Family Sign with Leah 

05/08/25 Police Workshop - County Lines (age +9) 

06/08/25 10am -2pm Cricket Skills 

07/08/25 10am- 12pm  Safety Works 12-3pm Games in the Park 

08/08/25 11am- 12pm Hearing Dogs for the Deaf 1pm -3pm Family Sign with Leah

The Department of Education Holiday Activity Fund programme is to support young people aged 4-16 attending Newcastle City Councils schools that are eligible for Free Schools Meals or in need during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays.
