Tyne and Wear Museums and Archives - Work Experience

Tyne & Wear Museums and Archives have launched their brand new work experience campaign, details of which are below;

• A week long work experience opportunity to cover various departments and venues across the TWAM portfolio
• 26^th February – 1^st March, aged 16+
• 24^th – 28^th June and 1^st – 5^th of July, young people in year 10+
• The organisation are encouraging applications from a diverse range of backgrounds with students who do and do not have an interest in history
• A diverse employer with a wide range of positions and departments including marketing, HR, finance, hospitality, events, customer service, retail, curation etc
• TWAM are able to place work experience students at accessible venues close to their homes, where possible
• Students are able to gain, in addition, part-time employment and volunteering positions across the organisation to further help support progression
• Work experience placements must be applied for via application form, please make any expressions of interest to us here at NE1 CAN in the first instance
