YMCA Newcastle Best Summer Ever 2025

This Summer, we’re running a free holiday club for young people. It’s packed with exciting activities, tasty food, and great company! 

Here’s what you can expect: 

• Sports and games – Get moving and have fun!
• Creative arts – Try graffiti, painting, and crafts.
• Cooking sessions –Make and enjoy healthy meals.
• Outdoor adventures – Explore, play, and stay active.
• A free meal every day – Tasty and nutritious! 

Everyone is welcome! You’ll meet new friends and learn new skills. 

• week one 28th - 31st July 12pm-3pm
• week two 4th-7th August 12pm-3pm
• week three 11th-14th Aug 12-3pm
• week four 19th - 22nd Aug 12pm - 3pm

This is a warm, caring and kind place to be because:

• We have a quiet or calm space for young people to chill out in
• We offer small group work and activities
• Parents/carers are welcome to have a pre-visit and to discuss individual needs prior to the activities
• We have changing facilities for young people with continence issues

The Department of Education Holiday Activity Fund programme is to support young people aged 4-16 attending Newcastle City Councils schools that are eligible for Free Schools Meals or in need during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays.
