We are very proud of our highly successful school, our pupils and their success. We believe that St. Cuthbert’s is a very special place and the relationship we develop with our children and their families enables us to create our distinctive ethos.
At St. Cuthbert’s, we are blessed with a team of staff who are extremely hard working and dedicated to helping every pupil in our school to achieve to the best of their ability.
At St Gabriels we promote learning through play. We feel it is important for children of all ages to be encouraged to explore and develop their own thinking. Developing an inquisitive mind will in turn enable children to become problem solvers to discover and learn at their own pace.
Activities within the nursery are planned with this in mind and the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
We are a nursery located in Gosforth on Back West Avenue. The nursery has been purpose built into a 137 place nursery offering care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.
Free play where children choose from several activities. Healthy snack time. Song time. Physical activity time. Story time. Circle time. Indoor and outdoor play. Computer room. Gardening.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday open 9am until 3pm, and children bring a pack lunch.

Stocksfield Avenue Primary School caters for children age 4 – 11 years. We also have a Nursery, which provides part-time places for children aged 3 +. The school has occupied its present site since 1957, but in September 2008 the school moved into a brand new building, purpose built for the 21st century.

I have been a Registered Childminder since 2014. I was graded Outstanding in 2016. I provide before and after school childcare for children who attend Cragside Primary School.
Following changes in how before and after school provisions are inspected by Ofsted I received MET when I was inspected in January 2020. The report explains what it is like for a child to attend my setting. I also have up to date feedback from previous as well as current childminding families which I can share with you.
The Cedars Nursery was first opened in 2002, and in that time we have created a warm and welcoming environment where our children can thrive and be enthusiastic about their own learning and development.
We are a large Victorian mansion which is set in its own grounds, we are very fortunate to have extensive fully enclosed, safe and secure, outdoor, space which includes a nature trail, large wooded area and well-kept lawns where the children can learn about the natural environment and enjoy activities on a larger scale which are better suited for the outdoors.
We have a fully equipped wet room. Children can attend for 11 hours per week all year around for the FEYE only as well as children who meet the criteria for the 2 year offer (again offered over 11 hours each week). We offer the 30 hours funding and are flexible in our approach to this, tailoring sessions to suit your needs where we can. We work alongside other professionals to offer the best support to the whole family as well as the child, such as, speech and language, family support, health visitors, SENTASS team and community nursery nurses.
At Newburn Riverside we have an overriding commitment in meeting all children's needs and interests. Staff act as positive role models for the children, fostering a positive attitude to diversity, with the children’s needs being at the heart of everything we provide. Children benefit from the sensitive, calm approach to their care, from a professional and highly competent team.
At the Cop-operative Childcare Newcastle, your child can feel at home, make friends and develop as an individual in a safe and stimulating environment. The nursery is registered for 112 children. It is arranged for over five rooms to allow children to be cared for by age and ability. In addition to indoor play and learning areas there is access to a secure outdoor garden. Dance classes are available. Out own chef provides healthy, nutritious meals onsite.
