I am an Ofsted registered Childminder qualified with NVQ Level 3 Childcare Diploma. I have extensive childcare experience which allows me to offer a personal, high quality service in a warm welcoming environment.
Central Walker Church of England Primary School is a Voluntary Aided School that caters for boys and girls between the ages of 2 and 11 years. It is part of The Riverside Learning Trust. Children normally transfer to Walker Technology College or Benfield School in the September after their eleventh birthday. The staff of the secondary schools liaise closely, the children visit and meet the teachers on many occasions before they transfer.
We provide Early years foundation stage education to children age 2 to school starting age. We are a friendly, easily accessible setting who accept children of all abilities and cultures.
We provide a safe and fun environment where children thrive and prepare for their next transition.
Our sessions are 8.00-11.15am and 12.15-3.30pm - we offer a flexible drop off/pick up from 8.00-8.45am and 2.45-3.30pm. We also offer lunch cover on all four days to which funded entitlement can be used.

The Family Hub includes Start for Life and Early Help family support for families with children of all ages. This includes play and early learning sessions, health and wellbeing, parenting skills and support, antenatal support and breastfeeding. Early Help family support is for families with children up to the age of 19 in need of additional support.
The Children and Young People’s Service provides a single service to all children and young people aged 0-18 years living in Newcastle and Gateshead who present with mental health difficulties.
This includes children and young people who may be living in difficult and challenging circumstances.

Childsplay Nursery was established in 1982 as a "not for profit" cooperative and has been working alongside families successfully ever since. Childsplay retains their Ofsted judgement as an OUTSTANDING provider, our most recent inspection dated 5 December 2019.
We provide breakfast club and after school club for children aged three years plus as well as a holiday club at this venue!
Holiday club is open 8:00am-5:50pm for children aged three years plus.
We can offer additional 15 hours funded childcare within our out of school club services as well as within our preschool service.
- We offer 2, 3, and 4 years funded education as well as paid for places.
- We provide a wrap around service to the onsite nursery school at English Martyrs’
- We offer access to our breakfast and after school clubs on site, so children can access childcare from 8:00am-5:50pm for children ages 3 and over.

We believe that working in partnership with families, involving them in children’s learning, is a strength of our school. The school has had a strong tradition of working with families for over 120 years. We are a small family orientated school and our size enables us to reassure parents that we can really get to know their unique and special children. Because we are small we can really spend time getting to know our families well. Each year has 30 children or less, with every class having additional support to ensure your child achieves their very best. F

Values
Happy children from just 6 weeks to 5 years learn and develop at Church View Day Nursery. Working within the 'Early Years Foundation Stage' framework we encourage children to initiate their own activities, making decisions and choices for themselves.
The children have fun working, learning and playing with our staff and each other , building their creativity and independence in a purpose built and safe environment. We are inspired by the Danish concept of Hyyge and have incorporated this into our environment creating a warm, cosy and inviting learning space.
Clowning Around provides an Ofsted registered Breakfast, After School & Holiday Club at Ravenswood Play Centre for children who attend Ravenswood Primary School. We provide fun and affordable childcare delivered in a safe and supervised environment. Our qualified staff are DBS checked to an enhanced level, first aid qualified and are experienced in and passionate about the activities they offer.
The Community Eating Disorder Service (CEDS) provides community support and hospital inreach. This specialist eating disorder service supports young people and their families in the community to manage their condition and prevent hospital admission. They provide family based therapy in a range of settings as well as specialist clinical assessment and inreach to paediatric and acute mental health settings.

Start for Life focuses on services from conception to two years. Newcastle United Foundation now host a Community Food Pantry from NUCASTLE in conjunction with The West End Foodbank which will enable them to support the community with additional provisions at a difficult time for many.
