We pride ourselves on offering high-quality, person-centred and outcomes-focused services which give value to the people we serve and are responsive and effective for referral agents.

The Hub offers places to disabled and autistic adults, including school/college leavers. Sessions are led by experienced support workers and professional artists.  

Explore drawing and painting, sculpture, textiles, media, printmaking, drama and movement. Activities are designed to develop personal creativity and improve art and craft skills. There is also focus on collaboration, communication and wellbeing.

Archbishop Runcie First School is the only Church of England school in the north of the city of Newcastle upon Tyne and we are proud to offer our children a high quality education in a Christian context. Archibald First School is situated in the heart of Gosforth and is part of the Gosforth Schools Trust.  We are a two form entry First School with a Nursery as part of our Early Years Unit.  There are no mixed age classes at Archibald First School, each class has a designated teacher and at least one shared Teaching Assistant. In addition to our classrooms we have a computing suite, two large halls, a library, a sensory room and additional group teaching spaces.

Come and join us at Scotswood Gardens on Saturday afternoons for our family friendly and inclusive outdoor art, music, movement and exploring sessions! 

Sessions are free, but booking is essential.

We are a 104 place local authority nursery school. We also have a two year old unit, All2gether@Ashfield, offering 15 hours funded places for 2 year old term time only.

As part of the Autism Central programme, Daisy Chain provides a range of in-person learning workshops. These cover many different topics to help support individuals and families.

Our Story

Daisy Chain provides a range of support services to autistic children and adults, either with a diagnosis or who are undergoing the diagnostic process, their parents/carers and their siblings.

Daisy Chain began life in 2003 as the dream of its founder, Lesley Hanson, whose son Jacob was diagnosed as autistic at an early age.

Autism North East is a Social Enterprise, non-profit-making organisation providing assessment, diagnosis and intervention for children, young people and adults where this is a concern related to an Autism Spectrum Condition.

Bring your child along for a fun filled session with other children. This will help to develop their personal, social and emotional skills.

Activities include song and rhyme and sensory play.

Term time only.

A parent and toddler group is a welcoming and friendly group of adults. This includes mothers, fathers, childminders or carers. They all come together in their own community with their children who are under the age of 5. This parent and groups offer play opportunities for children from birth to 18months old, as well as an opportunity to mix with others. They also offer support to adults and a break from the normal routines of the day. 

Booking maybe required at some groups.
