The service is an abstinent based supported housing service and national drug treatment organisation and we offer abstinence based accommodation in Tyneside for those in recovery for substance misuse. Our Supported Housing is delivered in partnership with local housing providers and offers people with substance misuse issues a structured package of support. There are 2 semi-independent houses in Tyneside with a total of 18 beds. The sites are staffed during the day and offered a tailored package of one-to-one care and group work.
The Charity Patchwork was set up in order to help and educate young people between the ages of 8 and 25 years resident in the West End of Newcastle Upon Tyne and the surrounding area. This includes those who are involved in the Criminal Justice System or at risk of becoming involved in the Criminal Justice System, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or political, religious or other opinion.
A Specialist service for people who's lives are affected by someone else's alcohol or drug use. PROPS can offer one to one work, peer support groups, and training around substance misuse. They also offer carer and family training, respite breaks and an emergency out of hours telephone helpline. PROPS also work with young people 11+ who have been impacted by someone else’s drug or alcohol misuse.

Dear Albert is a social enterprise which specialises in peer mentoring and making recovery more visible by bringing together existing resources. We have close links with peer support fellowships such as Smart Recovery, NA, AA and work in close collaboration with statutory funded drug and alcohol agencies, private rehabs, local authorities and substance misuse charities.

Cricket club for adults and juniors from 7+ years old.
We are a warm and welcoming club who are always looking for new members. We provide two Saturday XI's playing in the Northumberland and Tyneside Cricket League. Our 3rd XI play midweek cricket in the Northumberland League C Division and we also boast one midweek team in the North East Mid-Week Cricket League.

The harm reduction service delivers a range of open access and confidential support for drug and alcohol users. You can access support such as needle and syringe exchange, nursing support, blood-borne virus testing, and access to naloxone. You will also get lots of advice or information, and the staff will work with other services to support your needs.
There are other needle exchange services in the city, including pharmacy exchanges, and the exchange at the Joseph Cowan Health Centre.
